Ron calls himself a hybrid. His father's family landed in Kearny after a fire took their house in Newark. That's where his parents met. They moved to South Jersey when he was two, so he grew up down there, spending much of his childhood being driven back north to see relatives. He attended Rutgers, then law school in the city, then Jersey City, where he met his wife. They found a house in Hillsdale just before the pandemic, which is how a South Jersey kid ended up back in North Jersey for good.

He joined Fredson Statmore Bitterman in February 2021. People tend to reach him on the worst day of their year. He takes personal injury claims from the first phone call through litigation: notifying carriers, getting clients into treatment, keeping the medical bills with the right insurer, and going to court when it comes to that. The firm knows doctors from the south of the state up into Bergen County, so when a client's physician drops them mid-case, nobody starts over alone.

Ask what people get wrong and he'll say time. A claim can run two or three years, and that isn't a warning sign. It usually means somebody's still digging: chasing coverage, taking depositions, doing the unglamorous work that decides how it ends.

He'd never bring this up himself, so here it is: he was elected to the New Jersey Super Lawyers Rising Stars list in 2024.

And he plays drums. Private lessons as a kid, still counts himself decent, and he enjoys the double take from people who assume the suit is the whole story.
