Privacy
Bergen Showcase is published by Magic Bullet, LLC. This page explains what we collect when you use the site, what we do with it, and how to ask us to delete it. Questions go to info@bergenshowcase.com.
What we collect
When you fill in a form. Our forms ask for things like your name, email, phone number, business name, website and a message. What you type is what we receive. We use it to answer you, to consider your business for a listing or a feature, or to look into a business you recommended.
When we interview you. Spotlight interviews are recorded, with your knowledge, so we can write your profile accurately. We use the recording and its transcript to write and check your profile, and for nothing else.
When you publish with us. Anything you agree to have published on your listing or profile, such as your business name, photos, contact details and story, is public on the site.
When you browse. Like most websites, we use Google Analytics to understand which pages people read and how they found us. It uses cookies and records things like the pages you visit, your device type and your approximate location. We don’t use it to identify you.
Who helps us run the site
We use a small number of service providers. Each one handles your information only to do its job for us:
- Cloudflare hosts the site and its photos, protects our forms from spam, and stores form submissions.
- Resend delivers the emails that tell us a form was submitted.
- Anthropic (Claude) reads form submissions to help us sort real requests from spam and sales pitches.
- Google provides analytics and maps.
We don’t sell your information, and we don’t share it with anyone for their own marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep form submissions and interview recordings until you ask us to delete them, or until we no longer need them. Published listings stay up unless you ask us to take them down.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct or delete what we hold about you, or to take down your listing. Email info@bergenshowcase.com and we’ll take care of it. You can block or clear analytics cookies in your browser settings at any time.
Children
Bergen Showcase is written for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes
If we change how we handle your information, we’ll update this page and the date it was last changed.
