Senior Account Executive
"Protecting Your Priorities"
Born and raised in Bergen County, Josh Pact grew up in Wyckoff, lives in Upper Saddle River with his wife and two daughters, and after years at one of the ten largest insurance brokerages in the country, he walked away from corporate life to join Levitt-Fuirst, a family-owned firm based in Tarrytown where clients aren't account numbers.
Josh is a Senior Account Executive on the personal lines side: homeowners, auto, valuable articles, and umbrella coverage. The distinction he wants you to understand is broker versus agent. An agent represents one insurance company. A broker works for you, shopping multiple carriers and backing you with an in-house claims team that stays on the phone until a claim gets paid. As Josh puts it, "I've seen relationships make the difference between getting gray-area claims getting paid out."
What he won't do is compete on price. "If I win you on price, I'll lose you on price." His pitch is simpler: get a free consultation. Run your policy by him. If it's not his market, he'll tell you in thirty seconds and point you toward the right structure for your needs. His clients get plain-language coverage summaries every year and a broker who calls at 11 sharp when he says he will. "I recommend a call at least once a year to make sure clients are getting what they need for peace of mind. That's all a most of people need--peace of mind. I show them. Many insurance companies don't. Ask yourself: when is the last time you talked to your insurance broker?"
Off the clock, you'll find Josh on a pickleball court, or watching Arsenal soccer games (or 'football' games), which he'll tell you is a lonely devotion around here. "I have to be careful, because if I find out someone is an Arsenal fan, I'll end up talking about soccer for 15 minutes."
